The Walking Dead: Season 1 (TV show)

I admit that I have been slow of the blocks in watching this and season 6 is coming out this year, but I still enjoyed it very much and am attempting to catch up to season 5. With impressive acting, filmography, and music, it was really the makeup and CGI that impressed me. The zombies (while I wouldn’t know what they would really look like) are very impressive and realistic. An extremely high intensity, gory, badass show that exploits the ‘next episode’ button to the extreme.

When Sherif Rick Grimes is shot and falls into a coma, he is completely oblivious to the apocalypse happening outside. When he wakes up, over a month later, he is in the middle of a zombie infested town with only 2 survivors and must find his wife and boy. He is granted asylum by the survivors for a day or two, but must make it on his own to find his family.

I’m sure, as with all TV shows, there are probably a lot of continuity errors and impossible plot points, but I was certainly not concentrating on that at all.
