This creative production by the Coen brothers leaves you both impressed, disgusted, and thinking ‘that was weird’. A classic of film, that tells a true story, this is not just interesting but also rather funny (in a dark way). I have no idea how they have turned this into a tv show.
When car salesman Jerry Lundegaard (William Macey) pays two thugs to kidnap his wife and make his father in law pay the ransom in order to get money off him, things get rather out of hand causing multiple homicides. He must now attempt to convince his father in law to give him the money and let him deal with it but has no idea what is happening on the other end of the deal.
Apart from every character being a complete idiot, I did not notice anithing wrong with this film in particular.
