Boyhood (movie review)

This oddly realistic representation of day to day life was filmed in 40 days over a period of around 15 years (as the actors grew up). It won the academy award for best picture in 2015 and is one of the few films with a really good ending.

This movie follows a young boy throughout his ‘boyhood’ as his mother divorces his biological father and marries someone else. This new husband is disliked by the kids and becomes an abusive alcoholic. She then divorces again and marries an ex-marine. All through this, both son and daughter have their lives turned upside down and personality changed. It doesn’t sound it, but this is a great feel good movie.

There were not actually any plot holes but sometimes the time skips were incredibly confusing.

Artistic Impression:🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐️
